The lyrics for this song came to me the night before I left NYC for California 2 years ago. The song’s sentiment is one everyone can relate to: hanging by a thread waiting for that special someone to text you back before you fall asleep. The song starts off moody and longing with electric guitar, emotional vocals, electronic drums, and builds with bass, organ, and harmonies until it finally bursts wide open with live drums and a rocknroll feel. I’m especially proud of the passionate vocals, catchy melody, and the way it catches you off guard when the live drums kick in. Thanks for listening!
